Have Kanye West Fans Had Enough?
Kanye West has won four Grammys in as many years — and one of those was Best Rap/Alternative Performance — but is his creative control over his music fair to say the least? Kanye West has gone from “I’m on fire” to “I’m like, ‘You know what, I did that.'”
This whole thing has been a real test of the ego for Kanye West.
There’s a lot of people who feel that his album The Life Of Pablo is actually his worst album of all time. For his part, West says, ‘I got more people who listen to my music every day than anybody else.’ And he says, ‘This album is the best record that I’ve ever been a part of.'”
I don’t know what everyone is making of here, but I do know it hasn’t done Kanye West any favors.
First, Kanye West has said he’s not trying to make his next album sound like The Life Of Pablo. “I’m not even trying to make a new album, to me it just feels like a new album already sounds like another album. Because I already got it down to where I like it and I’m feeling like I have new ideas.”
Next, Kanye West said he has no plans to make any changes to his image or appearance on the way to the Grammys.
And then, West said he has no plans to make any changes to his creative flow or songwriting in the ways that he has already made some changes to his performance on stage.
However, his fans are asking for something else. For Kanye West to not make any changes to his image on the stage is like taking a sledgehammer to the head because he was playing paintball and didn’t want to change the look of his face.
So that’s why a lot of people are talking about West’s “controversy” at the Grammys and how you can’t get anywhere and it didn’t affect his performance.
Also, a lot of his fans and critics are already talking about and talking about how some of West’s past performances and speeches made him seem like a hypocrite.
